Happy Pi(e) Day!

Just stopping by to say hi. It's closing weekend and it's certainly bittersweet. I'm experiencing a whole mix of emotions that I can't quite formulate into thoughts yet but what it all comes down to is that I'm just go to miss these people.

In the meantime, looking at pictures of pie makes me a little happy!

Happy Oscar Day! Don't you just love this photo of Audrey Hepburn with her Oscar? Here are some other great Oscar photos.

My pick for Best Picture is 12 Years a Slave. It was a heart-wrenchingly beautiful film with, what I think, is some of the rawest and most honest performances of all the nominees.

And I just read this article about the Oscars? It definitely makes me think differently about the whole event, but I'm still going to watch it and "oooohhh" and "awwww" the entire time.

This year I'm not doing an Oscar inspired menu. I wish there had been time to come up with something because this has always been a fun thing to do. I guess it's ok to skip one year since I am busy acting and that's what makes me the happiest anyway.
